As an organization, A.A.C.E., Inc. requires your help in order for Fridays to run safely and smoothly.
Your role as a volunteer is to be flexible and work where needed. Roles may include, but are not limited to, snack bar, housekeeping duties, monitoring the halls and/or outdoor areas, and breaking down classrooms. Please feel free to communicate any concerns that may limit you with heavy lifting.
Please understand how important your role as a volunteer is. In order to keep students safe, we need you to be vigilant. During your volunteer shift, please do not plan to complete other work or spend time on your computer or cell phone. We ask instead, that you are aware of what is going on around you in order to keep our students safe. There will be a list of AACE rules available so you will know what behaviors are acceptable.


Each family is required to volunteer 12 hours per semester for a total of 24 hours per year or pay a fee of $20 per hour.
.If you would like to opt out of volunteering, you may pay the fee of $20 per hour for a total of $240 a semester/$480 for the year.
At the end of each semester, if your volunteer hours have not been fulfilled and payment has not been received, your child will not be able to attend classes until payment has been received.


Parents are required to sign up for their volunteer hours through the website, Signup Genius. Once your registration with A.A.C.E., Inc. is processed, you will be sent a link to sign up.
Parents are required to sign up on Signup Genius for their shifts once they are registered with A.A.C.E., Inc. Reminders of your shift times will be sent to your email.

If needed, simply edit your volunteer hours on Signup Genius. If you are unable to fulfill your scheduled shift, it is your responsibility to find a substitute. There will be a list of substitutes available for you to contact. They must be a member of A.A.C.E.,Inc.

When you arrive to complete your volunteer hour , check in at the front desk. Speak with Laura Saine or Amanda Nelson to find out where you are needed and sign in/out in the Volunteer Binder. If the hours are not recorded in the binder, they will not count towards your 12 hrs per semester.

Parents are allowed to bring their children with them when they volunteer. Please feel free to bring games, school work or other things for them to do. However, they should not be disruptive to others.

I understand that because I am enrolling my child in A.A.C.E.,Inc. for the 2020/2021 school year I am required to volunteer at Friday School in order to remain in good standing with A.A.C.E.,Inc. I understand that if I do not fulfill this commitment my family will not be allowed to register for the 2021/2022 school year.

I also understand it is my responsibility to record the shift I volunteer on the day I volunteer in the Volunteer Binder provided by A.A.C.E., Inc. I understand that if I do not record the shift, I will not be credited for that shift. I understand it is my responsibility to monitor the shifts I have been credited. Failure to contact A.A.C.E., Inc. right away concerning a discrepancy may result in my family being responsible for additional shifts.

If there are an abundance of families that register at A.A.C.E.,Inc., your volunteer time will be decreased accordingly. The following choices are the most you will be required to volunteer. However, we never turn help away. If you want to volunteer more than the required time, you are more than welcome.
