We’ve reached our maximum capacity for the number of students (850+) we can support in 2025. This means we’re not able to accept any more new students into the program for the remainder of the year. Kindly understand that we are all volunteers behind the scenes here at LAI; having reviewed more than 10,000 letters this year, it's time for a break so that we can spend time with our families over the holidays.

If you need to complete community service now or in the early months of 2026, we recommend finding another volunteer program to ensure you can meet your deadline.

If you’re writing just for fun or don’t need anyone from LAI to verify your hours, you’re still welcome to join us. Simply visit our website and choose the “Individual” registration option to get started.

Please note that we are not able to provide proof of volunteering for anyone who is not enrolled in our student program.
