As part of specials, we learn about traditions and holidays. These include non-religious holidays (i.e. Halloween, Memorial Day) and religious ones (i.e. Christmas, Yom Kippur, Dia de los muertos, Diwali). Religious holidays are examined in light of the special. For example, when studying Eid, we may look at how music is part of that holiday and a brief explanation of what the holiday is. We will not be studying various religions. If your child cannot take part in these cultural lessons there will be an alternative asynchronous activity.  Though we cannot cover everyone's traditions each year, part of the goal of this survey is to better understand the traditions and cultures of our population so that over the course of their time here, they will have lessons that reflect their community and the world.
Can your child participate all of the  holiday/ tradition lessons? *
If you answered no, please indicate which holidays/ traditions they cannot participate in? (you may check more than one)
If you checked other, please specify what your child cannot participate in here.
Is there anything else you want to share with us? If so, what? (for example, if you celebrate a holiday that isn't mentioned above)
Thank you so much for taking the time to fill this out!
