You and your child/children are invited to join us at our weekly play, learn and discover groups.
Wouldn’t you like to come to a place where you and your child can interact in a safe, developmentally appropriate, fun, socially stimulating and exciting way?
Meet new children and other parents looking for the same thing as you.
What will we do?
Activities will be done in a friendly age-appropriate way to introduce social emotional learning, literacy, writing, math, science and of course it will all be offered in an early childhood environment while the children are playing and socializing. There is plenty of space for our infants and toddlers to move around and learn too!
You are welcome to attend as many of the groups as you would like.  Repetition is very important to children and that is how they successfully master skills.

Please complete this statement:                    I would like to see my child....... *
I have concerns about?
I would like you to do more or less of....
I have completed the Ages and Stages developmental tool for my child/children within the last year. The easy to use Ages and Stages developmental tool is a questionnaire for anyone (the parent/guardian) to complete (online/paper/pencil).  The questionnaire you complete is determined by your child’s date of birth.  The tool can be used for children ages 2 months up until 5 yrs and 5 months old.  The tool covers five developmental areas such as gross motor (movement) and communication (language skills), fine motor, problem solving and personal-social.   Once the questionnaire is submitted to me we can move ahead.  We will discuss the results. This tool is for anyone to complete!  You will receive new and exciting ideas you can do with your child/children that are age appropriate while practicing new and old skills.   This tool also helps guide me in my programming to provide necessary skills to all of the children in a fun and exciting way!                                                                                 Link:  https://www.asqonline.com/family/096b55 *
If you have chosen to not complete the Ages and Stages tool can you tell me why?
I have a child that is between the Ages of 18 mo to 4 years old.  I am interested in learning more about the ParentChild+ program.  This program is a home visiting program broken up into 2 30 minute sessions.  This program is built to support you and and your child/children.  Completely FREE!  Checking yes does not commit you to the program.
CFCE Parent - Child Playgroup Survey

The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (CFCE funding Source) has added a requirement that we request families complete a survey after programming.  To save on paper I have added it to this registration form.
If you have not attended a program before - you can skip the next 7 questions.
I apologize for the redundancy of doing this every month - it is a requirement of the grant.
As a result of attending this CFCE playgroup will you:
*What is Dialogic Reading (#2)
Imagine that the parent and the child are looking at the page of a book that has a picture of a fire engine on it. The parent says, “What is this?” (the prompt) while pointing to the fire truck. The child says, truck, and the parent follows with “That’s right (the evaluation); it’s a red fire truck (the expansion); can you say fire truck?” (the repetition).
1. Read to your child more often?
2. Use Dialogic Reading Strategies when reading with your child?
3. Provide a variety of print, reading, and writing materials to your child?
4. Provide additional literacy opportunities, such as, listening to music, singing, and telling stories?
5. Do you know more about your child's development because of these programs?
6. Have you been offered an opportunity to take the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ)?
Is there anything you would like to add?
Which statement is a better fit for your family? *
