Chapel Hill Parks & Recreation's Haunted Hill and Trunk-or-Treat will be returning on Saturday, October 28, 2023!
We are looking for organizations, businesses, and individuals to volunteer to participate in the Trunk-or-Treat. Trunk-or-Treat provides a fun and safe form of trick-or-treating. Participants are asked to decorate their vehicle’s trunk and provide pre-packaged candy. The event will be held at the Chapel Hill Community Center, 120 S. Estes Drive, and we're anticipating attendance between 800-1,000. Haunted Hill is catered towards youth 10 and under, so decorations should be festive but not scary. Vehicles need to arrive between 3:30pm and 4:00pm on the event evening, which will allow for 60 minutes of set up. The Trunk-or-Treat portion of the evening will end at 6:30pm, and vehicles will be allowed to exit shortly after. Prizes will be awarded for the best trunk, the most creative trunk, and the people's choice trunk!
We would be delighted to have your support. Participants must register their cars by Monday, October 23, 2022, by completing the below form. For more information about Haunted Hill, please contact Jenna Hambleton by email,
