Hôunsai Daisôshô 11.-12.10.2019
The previous 15th generation grand master of Urasenke Sen Genshitsu, Hōunsai Daisōshō arrives in Helsinki in October to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relationships between Finland and Japan and the 40th anniversary of the Kansai Japan-Finland Society. The occasion also marks the 30th anniversary of the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Finland Association, and the 15th anniversary of the Tokuyûan tea room. We would like to invite the members of the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Finland Association and the Midorikai alumni from Finland and overseas to take part in the two day event either as guests or assistants. The estimate of the participation fee is for the two days stands currently at 150€.

Are you interested to join keiko? (On Sunday 13 and Monday 14, Machida gyōtei sensei teaches keiko in the tea room Tokuyūan. Please note that the keiko is primarily for members of the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Finland Association, but there may be a chance for kengaku for others. The programme of the keiko will be confirmed at a later date, and kyojō study permission restrictions may apply. Keiko fee 15€.)
