2019 Miller Farm Deer Hunt for the Mobility Impaired
The Seneca Conservation District (SCD) and the Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League will host their 21st Annual Deer Hunt for the mobility impaired from December 2nd to December 6th, 2019. The hunt will take place at the Miller Conservation Farm, owned by the Seneca Conservation District (SCD). The farm, located at 5670 East TR 138, Tiffin, Ohio, encompasses 80 acres and is full of tremendous habitat for quality white-tailed deer. These deer are a public resource and we feel this is the best way to manage the area. Eligible hunters must be mobility impaired. The Izaak Walton League will provide any assistance needed for the hunters, including transportation to and from the specially made blinds, which are located at 4 different sites throughout the farm. There is no registration fee. However, the hunters are responsible for transportation to the farm, purchasing a valid license and deer permit, and personal supplies and snacks while in the blinds. The SCD and Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League will provide meals.
If you or someone you know would like to attend the hunt, please complete the application at the bottom of this page. It is important to include an email address because all future correspondence regarding this and future hunts will be communicated via email when possible.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE Tuesday, NOVEMBER 13th, 2019.
If you are selected during the random drawing, you will be assigned a hunt day between December 2nd and December 6th to hunt Miller Farm. Those hunters selected will be notified by November 20th via phone and/or e-mail.
