We are seeking museum consultants to serve the field for the NYSCA/GHHN Collection Needs Assessment Program (CNAP). Following in the footsteps of the extremely successful IMLS C2CNYS Circuit Rider Program, this new grant partnership program with NYSCA will provide an opportunity for collections support. CNAP Consultants are hired by sites to conduct a visit on a particular collections care topic, which includes a written report. As an aid to sites applying to this program, GHHN is creating a CNAP Consultant Resource List. This list is intended to serve as a resource for sites to locate an appropriate consultant. Sites will reach out to potential consultants directly to discuss their project, timeline, and scope of work.
The NYSCA/GHHN CNAP Grant Partnership Program will pay $500 for one half-day site visit, which includes a written report (at least 3 pages, must include recommendations and resources, provided to the site within 3 weeks of visit) and up to $150 in round trip travel (within NYS only). The consultant will be paid directly by the site with the awarded grant funds. Inclusion on this list does not indicate endorsement by the New York State Council on the Arts or Greater Hudson Heritage Network or guarantee a consultancy.
Please fill in the fields below and send a current resume to GHHN at CNAPResumes@gmail.com
. Please note: your submission will not be considered complete unless a resume is received. GHHN will review your submission and if appropriate, you will be listed as a consultant within 7-10 days. Thank you for your interest!
