We invite you to join us in this cause and learn about County/City government and many community groups and programs. Must be invested in working with and supporting immigrant communities, fluency in an additional language is preferred BUT not required. Must be 18 years of age and older, pass background check. This is how you can get involved, please read carefully:

>>VOLUNTEER- To get involved as a Volunteer (individual or group) must be willing to contribute time at special events, community fairs, or for special projects. There are no set number of hours set for volunteers. You will be contacted to volunteer and assist at special events, community fairs, and other outreach activities/projects.

>> LANGUAGE POOL VOLUNTEER (Interpreter)- To get involved as a Volunteer Interpreter or to be added to our volunteer language pool must be willing to volunteer time to help interpret or translate for people who are looking for more information on a program or service.  Multilingual volunteers are invaluable to El Paso County. You will be contacted to volunteer and assist at special events, community fairs, and other outreach activities/projects.

>>INTERNSHIP- To get involved as an Intern, must be an active student seeking an associates or bachelors in social services, psychology, international/linguistic studies, public policy, political science or other related field from an accredited college or university or recent graduate willing to commit to 10-20 hrs. a week for six months to a year. Please submit a cover letter, resume, unofficial transcripts, and 3 references.

>>COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER- (POSITION NOT YET AVAILABLE) To get involved as a CHW, must be going through the CHW certification program or have already been certified. Must be willing to commit 5-10 hours a week. Please submit a cover letter, resume, unofficial transcripts, and 3 references. (POSITION NOT YET AVAILABLE)

>>DREAM EP FELLOW- (POSITION NOT YET AVAILABLE) To get involved as a DREAM EP Fellow, must be a DACA recipient, must be an active student seeking an associates or bachelors in social services, psychology, international/linguistic studies, public policy, political science or other related field from an accredited college or university or recent graduate willing to commit to 10-20 hrs. a week for six months to a year. You will be paired with local immigrant serving community organization. Please submit a cover letter, resume, unofficial transcripts, and 3 references. (POSITION NOT YET AVAILABLE)

>> PROMOTORA DE SALUD- (EL PUESTO NO ESTÁ DISPONIBLE) Para participar como Promotora, debe estar pasando por el programa de certificación de Promotora o debe de haber terminado el programa. Debe estar dispuesto a dedicar de 5 a 10 horas a la semana. Por favor, envíe una carta de presentación, curriculum vitae, expediente académico no oficial, y 3 referencias. >> DREAM EP FELLOW- (LA POSICIÓN AÚN NO ESTÁ DISPONIBLE) Para participar como DREAM EP Fellow, debe ser un beneficiario de DACA, ser un estudiante activo que busca un asociado o licenciatura de una universidad acreditada o un recién graduado dispuesto a comprometerse con 10 -20 horas a la semana durante 6 meses a un año. Se lo emparejará con organizaciones comunitarias locales de servicio a inmigrantes. Por favor, envíe una carta de presentación, curriculum vitae, expediente académico no oficial, y 3 referencias.
