Black in Cancer, founded in 2020, connects and celebrates Black professionals in cancer research and medicine. We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our mentorship program, specifically within the BiC Pipeline Program (BiCPP). This initiative empowers aspiring cancer researchers, providing mentorship, funding, and career guidance from undergraduate to postdoctoral levels. By partnering with esteemed organizations like Cancer Research UK, The Emerald Foundation, and top universities and cancer centers, we ensure robust support for our community. Expectations:
- 1-year minimum commitment
- Motivated to support and advance Black In Cancer programs
- Highly organized, communicative, and proficient in managing email correspondence
- Experienced with Zoom and Teams platforms for virtual meetings
- Available for biweekly group meetings
