Ensuring the future of the construction industry requires a strong team. At the heart of AGC’s Emerging Leaders program, we build leaders who are passionate about their careers and determined to build a better, brighter future for California.

Our mission is simple: We believe construction is our future. AGC’s Emerging Leaders exists to educate, connect, and engage entry to mid-level construction professionals so that together, we learn the industry, develop powerful networks, and build our communities.

AGC Emerging Leaders helps entry-to mid-level professionals across all sectors of California's diverse construction industry to reach their career goals and find fulfillment on the job. Points of engagement occur through the exchange ideas across construction industry topics, relevant education and training, and the development of powerful networks to influence a healthy construction industry.

Our Values
  • Educate: We provide a convenient “one-stop shop” for accessing relevant industry trainings and certification programs
  • Connect: We foster a strong network, connecting professionals from across the industry and facilitating an open forum for the exchange of ideas and discussion of key issues facing the industry today.
  • Engage: We offer opportunities to engage and affect a healthy construction industry for tomorrow, including leadership roles, junior advocacy, exposure to all facets of the industry and the legislation affecting it, various charitable activities, and more.
