Xoloitzcuintle Breed Club - Open Show winnings Tracker 2025
The Xoloitzcuintle Breed Club is starting to collate your Open Show winnings! We would like to collect as much data as possible surrounding your winnings and placings so we can showcase all your wonderful hard work into showing your Xolo in the newsletter. This information is also vital as there is currently no database to record all Xolo placings at Open Shows. By inputting your data, you will be also be awarded points to count towards winning Xoloitcuintle Open Show Dog of the Year!

There is five categories/prizes to be won: 

Top Standard Adult
Top Intermediate Adult *New for 2025*
Top Mini Adult *New for 2025*
Top Coated Adult
Top Puppy/Junior 

All points earned in a show year regardless of age contribute towards the overall Xoloitcuintle Open Show Dog of the Year 2025

Points work as followed:
30 points for Best in Show at a Group or General Open Show
25 points for Reserve Best in Show at a Group or General Open Show
20 points for a Group 1 (including puppy, so you win Group 1 Puppy and Group 1 Utility you would win 40 points)
18 points for Group 2 (including puppy, so you win Group 2 Puppy and Group 2 Utility you would win 36 points)
16 points for Group 3 (including puppy, so you win Group 3 Puppy and Group 3 Utility you would win 32 points)
14 points for Group 4 (including puppy, so you win Group 4 Puppy and Group 4 Utility you would win 24 points)
10 points Best of Breed and/or Best Puppy in Breed
8 points for Reserve Best of Breed and/or Reserve Puppy in Breed
6 points for a 1st place in a breed class
4 points for a 2nd place in a breed class
2 points for a 3rd in a breed class

New for 2025 - AV classes will count towards your board, the points are counted the same for placings, i.e 1st AV = 6 points and so on. 

We can't do this without you, so if you have a spare 10 minutes after attending your Open Show we would appreciate your feedback.

You are permitted to back date your winnings to 20th January 2025

*Junior Classes - Please make sure you put the age of your dog at the time of the show, this helps us work out whether the points count towards the adult title or the puppy title. Just to confirm, a Puppy is defined as 6 months to 12 months, any dog over the age of 12 months at the time of the show is considered an adult for the sake of this leaderboard.
