We are asking for demographic data to understand who is a part of the CCF movement, why and to better understand the diverse needs of those in the movement. There has been anecdotal data around participation in our digital spaces and ethnic and gender demographics, and we would like to ground truth that information through this request. We will also provide this information decoupled from names and emails to provide demographic data on who is a part of the movement when sharing the impact of our work with partners and collaborators.

We recognize that identity and location are fraught and have histories tied to colonialism. There are a variety of names and ways of identifying oneself and their community. In addition, identity is continually changing and evolving, as is language. This is with a goal of being inclusive while also acknowledging the labor in filling in many blank spaces. If the identities listed do not describe you, there are opportunities for self description.
