Better styling/theming support.
Be able to submit a custom element in a <form>.
Declarative <shadowroot> for improved crawler/server-side-rendering support.
A callback to signal when children are available.
Better APIs for defining accessibility semantics.
Scoped styles that don't require creating a shadow-root. https://github.com/w3c/webcomponents/issues/468
Access to different mobile keyboards. e.g. x-foo[keyboard="email"].
The ability to deep link into Shadow DOM using named anchors.
The ability to fallback to a native element if JavaScript fails to load.

Why are the above items important to you? e.g. "Not having declarative <shadowroot> blocks my business because of X."
