Part B (your biography) and Part C (the actual contents of your submission) should be sent as separate attachments to email@example.com in an email with a subject header beginning "Contest submission" and including the title of your submission and your name (matching the title and name submitted here in Part A). For example, your email header would be: "Contest submission: Your submission title, Your name".
To simplify the judging and later posting of your materials, the emailed attachments of Parts B and C should be PDFs where possible (preferred but not required format), with any additional non-document-like materials (e.g., video or audio files) attached separately. (For example, put your biography in one PDF document and the texts, images, and links for your project in another PDF document; additionally attach multimedia files that cannot be treated in that way.) If your Part C consists of material that cannot be emailed as part of a document or attached as files (for example, if you have built a web site or have deposited your materials online), please include in your emailed submission the link to your material with any necessary explanation. (Note: In the case of any material--e.g., image-based or audio-based work--whose relevance to the theme of the contest is not evident or would not be clear without explanation, please include a written description of how the material bears on the idea of the contest.) No hard-copy or other physical media will be accepted. Please consult the "Guidelines & Submissions" document for the contest for additional details: http://4humanities.org/contest/guidelines/
Only one submission by an individual or by a team is allowed. Submissions are due by March 1, 2016.
Participants in the 4Humanities.org "Shout Out for the Humanities" competition warrant that they are currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, or were enrolled within two years of March 1, 2016. (Awards will be contingent on verification of student status.) They also agree to the terms of the competition as stated in the contest announcement and guidelines. No members of the 4Humanities.org initiative or members of its local chapters may make a submission.
