This is the application for those seeking to receive a scholarship while serving as staff members of The George-Anne Inkwell edition, the newspaper serving the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University. Questions may be directed to WE HAVE IMMEDIATE OPENINGS. PLEASE NOTE WE WILL HOLD INTERVIEWS ON THURSDAY, AUG. 22. A $360 scholarship to be applied in Fall 2019 for work as a staff member of The George-Anne Inkwell Edition.

Recipients will have a weekly commitment of six hours (three two-hour shifts) based in the newsroom, Memorial College Center Room 202. Shifts will be the same every week and will be designed around your schedule.

Applicants will be considered who are interested in working on news coverage, photography, design and/or marketing.

No experience required.

Requirements: A sincere interest in your fellow students and enthusiasm for providing information to your community.

A limited number of scholarships will be available. Apply as soon as possible.

An informal interview in the newsroom (Memorial College Center Room 202) is required. Casual dress is OK. This will take about 15 minutes.
