Walton 8th Grade Night

Each year the Walton Band invites all 8th grade band students from both Dodgen and Dickerson to join them for an evening of fun and music making at a home football game! The music will be rehearsed and prepared in class at Dodgen. Here are the details:
On Friday, September 6th, students will report to the band room at dismissal. We will walk across the street to Walton (with plenty of supervision). Pizza will be served for dinner free of charge. Students will join the Walton Band for their meeting, warm-up, and sit in the stands with the band during the game. The event will conclude around 10:00 PM.
Pick-up will be at the FRONT ENTRANCE of Walton High School. Coming from Dodgen, take the first left AFTER the stop sign and drive up to the circular drive of the main entrance. We will be checking off students as they leave to insure their safety.
Paperwork: All students must have on file the Blanket Permission Form, which also includes medical information. The Blanket Permission Form is a one-time form, that covers you for all band activities for the year.
Other details: Wear comfortable clothes (long pants or school-appropriate shorts, and closed toe shoes such as sneakers). A Walton Band T-shirt will be provided free of charge once we get there.

Friday Football Game
My child can attend the football game performance at Walton High School on Friday, September 6th. They will report to the band room at the end of school. Pickup time is approximately 10 PM at the front entrance of Walton. All students must be checked out with Mr. Westphal or Mr. Jeffres.
For the Walton Band T-Shirt that will be provided.
