This trip is usually sold as a three part itinerary:
Part 1: Based in Thirsk, enabling a visit to the World of James Herriot Museum. Walk a segment of the Cleveland Way, visiting Alf Wight's 'finest view in England'.
Part 2: Walking the Herriot Way in the Yorkshire Dales (typically 4-5 days, shorter for runners).
Part 3: Based in Grassington or Kettlewell, exploring locations used for the filming of the Channel 5 'All Creatures Great and Small' and walking part of the Dales Way.
