Workshop: Burn The Heavy

Fire is a powerful force for cleansing and transformation. What heaviness do you carry and what would remain if you set it ablaze? In this generative writing workshop led by award-winning poet, playwright, performer, and educator Peggy Robles-Alvarado, participants will explore their interior landscapes using a poetic form created by torrin a. greathouse called “Burning Haibuns” where a prose poem is burned down until a haiku emerges.
