The Global Ambassadors of Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty may be for you! Global Ambassadors is a comprehensive, year-long experience program that offers youth 16 - 18 years of age the opportunity to gain new skills and experiences that will strengthen their global competence. The program also provides a platform for participants to engage with local businesses, non-governmental organisations and governmental departments.
As part of this program, participants may: - Attend local events as a Global Ambassador delegate
- Serve and/or advise as part of committees and/or boards connected with local councils.
- Engage in practical skills and development courses with valuable certifications.
- Design and deliver a projects to benefit local communities.
- Gain valuable experiences

In return, the project asks for:- 2 days of in-person activities each term holiday
- a total of approximately 8 - 12 hours of your time per month (minimum 120 hours for the full program).
- a supportive and collaborative attitude as part of the Global Ambassadors team
- you to share your unique perspectives and points of view
- your ideas, insight and passion as a local/global youth leader
If accepted, your role as ambassador is fully sponsored. There is not financial requirement from you to participate in this program.
