What Every Foster Should Know:

•  Dogs and cats in foster care are to be placed ONLY by an authorized Best Buddy Pet Rescue representative.
•  Foster homes are responsible and liable for the actions of the foster animals while in their care.
•  If you are unable to continue fostering the animal in your care for any reason, you agree to foster the animal until a new foster home can be found.

During your time as a foster, Best Buddy Pet Rescue will take care of all the animal's medical expenses, as well as provide food and necessary supplies. Although, we welcome donations of items from fosters who are willing to contribute.

Foster Agreement
I/we, the undersigned fostering party, understand and agree to return the animal to Best Buddy Pet Rescue if unable to keep the Animal. To never abandon the Animal or surrender, sell, or give the Animal to a shelter, pet dealer, or a laboratory. *
I/we, the undersigned fostering party, understand and agree to notify Best Buddy Pet Rescue if the Animal is lost or stolen and to make all reasonable efforts to locate the Animal. *
I/we, the undersigned fostering party, understand and agree to never allow this animal to be trained for or used for protection or as an attack animal. *
I/we, the undersigned fostering party, understand and agree to treat this Animal as a family pet with affection and kindness, never subjecting this animal to abuse or cruelty. *
I/we, the undersigned fostering party, understand and agree to notify Best Buddy Pet Rescue when vaccinations, parasite checks, or other medical attention is needed. *
I/we, the undersigned foster party, understand and consent to ensuring that any fostered dogs are always kept within a fenced area, on a leash, or securely inside the home (without being left outside on a chain or unleashed), while fostered cats are kept strictly indoors. *
I/we, the undersigned fostering party, understand and agree to inform Best Buddy Pet Rescue of the animal's development and grant a Best Buddy Pet Rescue representative the authority to carry out routine welfare inspections. *
The undersigned foster party, including myself/ourselves, comprehend and agree that failure to comply with any of the previously stated terms and conditions may lead to the immediate relinquishment of the animal, and that Best Buddy Pet Rescue reserves the right to reclaim the animal without providing any compensation to me/us. *
Acknowledgement Statement
By signing this application, I acknowledge that I have agreed to provide everything necessary for the health and welfare of the dog or cat in my care for Best Buddy Pet Rescue. I also accept full responsibility for the foster animals in my care, whether on or off my property, and agree to assume all liability for them while fostering for Best Buddy Pet Rescue. I am fully aware of the potential risks involved in any volunteer duties I undertake for Best Buddy Pet Rescue, and I agree to accept them entirely. Moreover, I understand my role as a volunteer and agree to hold Best Buddy Pet Rescue harmless for any injuries or damages sustained by myself, my family members, or my descendants while fostering or volunteering. I hereby waive my right to take any legal action against Best Buddy Pet Rescue or its representatives, both now and in the future. *
