FLAG, Inc Scobee Scholarship
The Scobee Scholarship was created in honor of Dick Scobee, the Commander of the Challenger Space Shuttle, and is awarded annually by the Florida Association for the Gifted, Inc. (FLAG). Two $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to an eligible male and female gifted student, interested in pursuing studies in the areas of math/science/technology. The deadline to submit the application is June 1, 2019. You must be in the 2020 graduating class. The award winner will be presented to the public at the Annual FLAG State Conference to be held in Brevard County, Florida in October, 2019 (Oct. 11 or 12, date/time TBA).
Current FLAG Board Members and Family Members of Current FLAG Board Members are not eligible for these scholarships.
