2019 Herd Fellows” Application
The Herd fellowship is a program that aims to inspire and educate the next generation of regenerative farmers and ranchers by sponsoring their attendance at the annual Grassfed Exchange Conference. In 2019, the conference will be held April 3-5, in Santa Rosa, California.

The Herd offers 12 or more full scholarships (which include travel, hotel, meals and registration fee), and 16 or more tuition scholarships (which cover the event registration fee)
The Herd believes that new farmers are an essential part of the grassfed, regenerative movement. We hope that this conference will inspire young farmers and that the young farmers, in turn, will inspire the rest of the participants.
The fellowship targets 1) young and new farmers and 2) returning veterans. Please apply if and only if you are currently active in or seeking employment in grasslands agriculture AND you are a

Next Generation Family Farmer: have a parent/parents involved in grasslands agriculture AND are 35 years old or

Student/Intern/Young Farmer: are currently (or will be) an intern or otherwise working on a farm or ranch in 2019
AND are 35 years old or younger

Veteran: are a formerly active member of the military AND are 45 years old or younger
