Children’s Chapel participants, ages K-6th Grade, may be dropped off at the Chapel at 9:30am and will be brought to church during the Peace and returned to their families. 

All children shall stay in the Church until the closing hymn and are welcome to play on the grass and playground thereafter.

 Preschool participants, ages 18mo-5yrs, may be signed-in at the Preschool at 9:30am. 

Families are encouraged to sign their children out so they may participate in Holy Communion all together.

HEALTH POLICY FOR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

For the health and safety of others, please keep your child home if exhibiting any of the following symptoms in the last 24 hours: a known or suspected infectious illness, a fever of 100.0 F within the past 24 hours, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or feeling unwell cough, sore throat, croup (except in the case of allergy), runny nose, common cold, contagious skin rash, pink eye, lice, impetigo (infected wounds), boils, ringworm any symptom of childhood disease such as mumps, measles, chicken pox, etc., use of antibiotics for 24 hours or less.

Release of Liability for Sunday School

For and in consideration of participation in Sunday School programs being held at St. Michael's by-the-Sea.

By virtue of my child’s participation they risk serious bodily injury. I knowingly and freely assume all such risk. I (we), the undersigned parent(s)/guardian(s) do release, hold harmless and promise not to sue The Episcopal Diocese of San Diego, St. Michael's by-the-Sea, their officers, agents, employees and chaperones, with respect to any and all such injury, except that injury or loss which results from the gross negligence or willful or wanton misconduct of one of those individuals or organizations.  I will inform my child that he/she must follow all safety rules and instructions or directions given during participation in the event, and that my child’s failure to follow instructions may result in my obligation to retrieve my child if requested.  I realize that participation in Sunday School is voluntary. *

I hereby GRANT /  DO NOT GRANT to St. Michael's by-the-Sea and to its employees, agents, assignees, chaperones and The Episcopal Diocese of San Diego the right to photograph and film my dependent and use the photo and or film or other digital reproduction of them or other reproduction of their physical likeness for publication processes, whether electronic, print, digital, or electronic publishing via the internet. Pictures of youth will never be tagged by full name. *youth without a photo release may not participate in live streamed services and will not be included in archived photos provided to families after the event.
