Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today 2019 Application
This is a scholarship program supported by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association - best known for producing the star-studded Golden Globe Awards; HBO CSR and our sponsors LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes and UNAM-LA.

In order to be considered for the TOMORROW’S FILMMAKERS TODAY PROGRAM please make sure to complete all the following requirements:
- The applicant must be between the ages of 21-35.
- The applicant must reside and currently produce artistic work in the Los Angeles area.
- The applicant must submit a complete application with a link to a short film. The short duration MUST not exceed 10 min. Reels will not be considered. Only narrative fictions or documentaries will be considered.
- The selected applicants that submit a 10 min short must have the proper release authorization to screen the short during the Hola Mexico Film Festival and a DCP or Blu- Ray copy ready for submission if requested.
- Applications will NOT be accepted after the deadline of Sunday, April 14 at 11:00 pm.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered for review.
- Materials sent by postal mail will not be accepted.
- If you are considered as a finalist you will be requested to schedule a 20 minute in person or Skype interview between May 1st and May 5th. If you miss the interview your application will be withdraw from the program.
- Final decisions will be sent by email on Friday, May 13th.
- Please be aware that this is a full-time program that runs from Friday, May 31st 1st at 9:00 am and concludes on Saturday, June 8th in the evening.
- Absences are not allowed. If you miss one day, you will not be able to continue with the program.
- By joining the program you consent to give TFT, Hola Mexico, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, UNAM LA and HFPA the right to use your testimonials and pictures in communication materials, printed, online social media outlets and reports.
- By joining the program you consent to give TFT, Hola Mexico and UNAM LA, upon your approval, the right to screen your film work at Hola Mexico Film Festival and at different venues related to the program, you have the right accept or decline the screenings.
