We're excited to offer a limited amount of fully subsidised pitches on Small Business Saturday, 1st December at Old Spitalfields Market for businesses to commit to a minimum of two of the following Sundays at our Cheshire Street Market - 7th October, 4th November and 2nd December. Old Spitalfields Market has 40,000 visitors each day on the weekend, Saturday is their busiest day and this one is the biggest retailing day in the year!
Plus, our partners Nwes are offering tailored package of support for traders with businesses under two years old and who are based in Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham with full pitch bursaries at our inclusive Cheshire Street Market (Brick Lane) for the first six months!
We're looking to get behind both first time and established traders who work with speciality food and cooking ingredients, handmade arts & crafts, books, fashions and homewares.

Successful Nwes programme and OSM applicants receive full bursaries, for those not on the programme the cost is £40.00 per Sunday for EETG Members and for non members it's - £60.00, block book 3 Sundays in a row to receive a £20 discount. The size of pitch is 3x2 meters, this includes a table and a gazebo, plus we set this up and pack it down for you!

REQUIREMENTS FOR PEOPLE SELLING SAUCES / PICKLES / PRESERVES AND CAKES
• Food business registration. • Provide name & address of Local Authority at which food business is registered.• All food is correctly labelled and described and meets quality standards.• Manufacturers and retailers of food are regularly inspected.• Your business meets strict hygiene standards. • Registered kitchen documents.• Food is safe to eat.
Please note, sorry but NO HOT FOOD STALLS.
All traders will need a Tower Hamlets Trading (TH) License and Public Liability Insurance. To apply for your license please allow at least 7 days in advance for it to be processed. Unfortunately you will not be allowed to trade without a licence so be sure to apply by contacting Chris Golds at LBTH:

• Valid passport
• Proof of address – council tax bill or utility bill
• Public liability insurance
• A passport size photograph
• Application fee £12.50.

We do share the marketing information you provide to us with our web developers and via our social media so that the public information about your business that you would like to be widely known is promoted.
