The Independence Intervention team is comprised of many caring and compassionate individuals who support students in enhancing positive academic and social behavior outcomes for all students. This is achieved by using evidence based behavioral interventions using Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as a structured framework. Intervention implementation include: school wide practices (RISE), one-on-one School Counselor support, social emotional learning groups, and if appropriate, case management/ crisis interventions that monitor student progress.
