Join  Kerry Public Participation Network (PPN) this February for a series of training opportunities that will equip local groups with essential skills in project management, fundraising, financial management and marketing.

Our next workshop of 2025, "Financial Management for Non-Profit Organisations” will explore everything from sourcing funding, creating financial management policy and procedure and managing costs. This 2-part training will take place online via Zoom

Session 1: Wednesday 19th February, 7.00pm-9.00pm

Session 2: Wednesday 26th February 7.00pm-9.00pm

  • Review of current costs and revenue sources.
  • Identifying types of costs – fixed and variable costs.
  • Identifying future investment requirements e.g. building works, expanding services, additional staff, equipment etc.
  • Sources of funding – grants, loans, fundraisers.
  • Revenue models – fees, sponsors, grants.
  • Preparing Cash Flow.
  • Financial Management Policies
