Undergraduate Scholarship Application
The North Carolina Recreation & Parks Scholarship Foundation (NCRPSF) provides scholarships to assist undergraduate students interested in pursuing careers in public parks and recreation. Scholarships are granted per academic year and typically range from $1000 to $3,000. The eligibility criteria are included below. The Foundation will accept scholarship applications for the upcoming school year from students who meet the requirements and submit all required information and supporting documents by midnight on April 1st.

Eligibility Requirements
• A rising Junior or Senior enrolled full-time in a four year curriculum at a North Carolina college or university which provides a major, concentration or emphasis in parks and recreation and/or related fields.
• A cumulative “B” average (3.0 on a 4.0 system) through the previous semester as evidenced by current transcript. Copy of official transcript(s) required from all colleges/universities attended required with application.
• Copy of official transcript(s) required from all colleges/universities attended required with application.
• Must be current member of the North Carolina Recreation and Park Association. (www.ncrpa.net)
• Provide two (2) references: one academic & one work/volunteer related.
Application Deadline: April 1ST at midnight. Application must be completed by deadline.

References will receive a link to complete a reference for you. This will be due by April 18th

Scholarship finalists will be required to submit a video response (7 minutes maximum) to a set of questions provided by the Scholarship Selection Committee. Notifications will be made by May 1st and video submissions are due by May 15th at midnight.
