1. The Active Vista Lab: Film for Human Rights Advocacy track is open to all Filipino applicants residing in the Philippines who intend to produce films that shall contribute to the Human Rights cause or who would want to explore the use of their craft for social impact.2. Aspiring, practicing, amateur or professional filmmakers are welcome to join.3. The workshop program prefers applicants who have film ideas in mind or already have projects in development. Projects can range from short films, feature-length narratives or documentaries.4. Basic knowledge or skill in video or film production is required. 5. Applicant must be available to attend all sessions of the workshop from May 1 – May 5, 2019 (Wednesday to Sunday), 8:30 am to 6:00 pm in Quezon City, Philippines. 5. The 5-day live-out workshop is free for the 15 selected fellows of the program. 6. The grant covers training fees, kits, materials and meals for the duration of the workshop. Selected participants are expected to cover their transportation and accommodation expenses as their counterpart. 7. The organizers may open limited number of slots for paying participants depending on the availability of slots and the capacity of the training venue.8. At the end of the workshop, participants are expected to pitch their film projects to invited film industry professionals, Human Rights experts, institutions and organizations for possible support, collaboration, funding and partnership.9.
