Meducators: Parent/Guardian Interest Form
We are a group of students within the Faculty of Health Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Therapy) at Queen's University who want to support the educational success of students of healthcare (and other essential) workers in our community through a free, one-on-one tutor program via on-line video conferencing. Our tutors can provide informal tutoring services for children of all ages and grades (K-12) across core subjects (math, science, English, French). The service may range from simply supporting the student virtually while they complete their homework, to creating full-on lesson plans to aid their learning.

*Please note, that while as post-secondary students we value academic excellence and many have completed undergraduate, Master's, PhD, and other professional degrees, our tutors are not certified and are participating on a volunteer basis. All volunteers have completed a Criminal Record Check to work with vulnerable persons and minors, as per our program requirements.

*At this time, we are prioritizing tutor services to healthcare workers and others within the KHSC network.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us at meducatorsqu@gmail.com.

This initiative is led by various members of Queen’s Medicine class of 2023.
