What is the Summer Food Service Program?

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federal meal program designed to ensure that youth ages 18 and under continue to have access to no-cost, nutritious meals and snacks during the summer months. Minneapolis Public Schools Culinary and Nutrition Services Department is a local sponsor of the SFSP; serving quality food in Minneapolis schools, parks, libraries, and other community sites.
