Title: Structuring Time for Positive Impact on Student Success

Date: February 9, 2022

Speaker: Ted Hall, M.Ed., Senior Associate at Great Schools Partnership, Portland, ME, AthenaK12 Speaker

Description: How a school structures time for students and adults has a big impact on student learning and teacher growth. When a school deliberately takes student success as the primary driver for the schedule, this can have a significant impact on meeting the needs of all students and achieving equitable outcomes. Common planning time, finding time for student support, creating advisory programming, reducing tracking, or scheduling extension activities for students are all structures that positively impact student success.
