Thank you for your interest in visiting Historic McKay Avenue School (Archives and Museum).

Tours are not available on weekends. Requests to visit the Archives and Museum should be made a minimum of 48 working hours in advance.

The Archives and Museum is open during the hours of 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday) for members of the public to engage in a self-guided or guided tour of our exhibits.

Self-guided and guided tours are generally are booked on Thursdays and when school is not in session (e.g. Professional Development days, Non-Instructional Days). 
  • Self-guided tours are best suited for up to 10 adults.
  • Guided tours are available for groups of 11 or more (up to a maximum of 20), upon request and for a fee.
