The ECREA Media, Cities and Space (MCS) section is hosting a one-day online Conference exploring how to engage publics and boost the impact of your research in the inter- and multi-disciplinary field of media and urban studies.

The programme will feature several talks from renowned and established practitioners and academics in the field of media and urban studies on both traditional and alternative academic media formats—including monographs, journals, podcasts and walking tours. It will also feature dedicated networking sessions open to both ECREA and non-ECREA members with a focus on promoting the activities of the ECREA Media, Cities and Space section and supporting research collaboration.

This event is free and open to all, including early career researchers, and will provide opportunities for all participants to share work, foster collaborations, and expand the visibility of their research.

Tuesday, 25 November 2025 - 10:00am to 5:00pm (IST/GMT - Dublin/London time)

The conference will take place online via Zoom. It is free and open to everyone.
