SSC Self-Nomination Form
All parents/guardians of current students at Prisk Elementary School are invited to nominate themselves for an elected position on the Prisk School Site Council.
School Site Council (SSC) is part of the Prisk decision-making process. This council works together to evaluate past data and performance indicators, and plan the future to make the best of every school year. Discussions about school climate, school safety, and budget expenditures are typical items on SSC meeting agendas. Additionally, we work together to create our school’s “Single Plan for Student Achievement” which is submitted each year to the Board of Education.
The Prisk SSC consists of five parents/guardians and five staff members (three teachers, one classified employee, and the site principal). These members are elected by their peers and each serves a two-year term. The committee meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 3:20 pm in the Prisk Library (or on Zoom). All meetings are open to the public, but only elected members can vote.
Parent/Guardian members must be elected by parents & guardians, so we invite you to complete this form and press the submit button. We currently have 2 open positions! Voting will take place in next week's newsletter if we have at least 2 volunteers by that time.
