Accidental Movement Audition

I am looking for an additional 3-4 performers to take part in my upcoming project Colossal. Colossal is an evening-length piece that will be presented at Abron's Art Center (NYC) over May 2-5, 2018. I am looking for fearless, unique, passionate performers with strong physical and histrionic presence, willing to take all kinds of risks.

COLOSSAL is a series of choreographic inquiries that attempt to traverse the vast commonalities of memory. The piece is a ritual of loops that seeks to transform individual bodies into a massive organism. In COLOSSAL, 4-6 performers progressively reveal their communal fantasy in an ineffable landscape where movements intimately relate to inner states. Past personal experiences are juxtaposed with future possibilities as a re-discovery of ancestral identity.

Rehearsals* start in October: Mondays 5-8 PM, Wednesdays 9:30-1:30 PM and every other Sunday 11-2 PM (maybe every Sunday in late Winter/Spring). There will be an intensive residency at Abrons April 23-27.

* Paid rehearsals and performances.
