Dog·Eared Books is proud to support local writers and contribute to a thriving local writing community. Due to the volume of requests we receive from area writers wishing to sell in our store, as well as limited shelf space, we cannot carry every title submitted to us. Special consideration will be given to Ames and Story County writers.

We do not consider out-of-state submissions for the local authors section. If you do not reside in Iowa and would like us to consider your book for our curation, you can send an email to hello@dogearedbooksames.com. We may not be able to respond to every submission.

If you are an Iowa author and would like Dog-Eared Books to consider carrying your book, please fill out our submission form. Books brought to the store without being requested by Dog-Eared Books are considered free review copies.
