Health Progress Hub (HPH) is a new impact-focused initiative aiming to accelerate progress in Global Health Policy. People in Low- and Middle-Income Countries still suffer from health conditions and risk factors (lead exposure, anemia, antibiotic-resistant pathogens) that have been severely neglected given their size. Effective policy advocates are doing great work to tackle these issues, but they face persistent ecosystem bottlenecks holding them back.
The Health Progress Hub will run targeted fellowship and traineeship programs to help impactful health advocacy organisations increase their scope and capacity. There are two crucial openings for which we would be excited to find motivated volunteers:
- Outreach & Communications Coordinator (10 hours/week): This role involves managing LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, creating engaging content and graphics using Canva, and tracking social media metrics to assess engagement and performance. The position supports general outreach and communications efforts, contributing to HPH's "build-in-public" strategy.
Key skills required include strong written communication, experience in social media management, basic graphic design abilities, and an analytical mindset for tracking and interpreting social media data. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication and outreach across platforms
- Knowledge Management Specialist (10 hours/week): This role focuses on organizing and maintaining documentation for a fellowship program, developing knowledge repositories, and creating standard operating procedures. The individual will set up systems for managing applications and participants, implement tools to improve operational efficiency, and support the HPH's "build-in-public" initiative.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with document and knowledge management, and be proficient in using project management tools. Attention to detail, clear writing, problem-solving abilities, and a self-motivated work ethic are essential, along with fluency in English for effective communication and documentation.
Interested individuals can apply for both roles.
