About TAAC: The Transfer Admissions and Advising Committee is an organization of transfer coordinators, advisors and transfer admissions counselors from several of the Philadelphia region’s institutions of higher education. We look to find ways to work together in an effort to better support student and institutional transfer needs and encourage transfer personnel to communicate with each other to help share experiences and successes.
About the Hailey King Memorial Scholarship: TAAC endeavors to support the transfer of Community College graduates that intend to continue their studies at four-year colleges and universities. With that in mind, TAAC would like to provide financial assistance to students who exhibit exemplary scholastic records and civic achievements with the hope that their transfer experience may be made easier with the scholarship funds. The winners of the TAAC Scholarship will be provided with a $500 scholarship towards completion of a bachelor’s degree.
Criteria for Eligibility:

The student must graduate with an associate degree from an accredited community college and will not have matriculated into another post-secondary institution following graduation of the associate degree;
• Minimum of 30 credits earned toward the associate degree must have been earned at the community college;
•
The student will matriculate at an accredited, not-for-profit four-year institution in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024;
•
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 from all post-secondary institutions attended;
•
Application Deadline April 30, 2023, including the letter of recommendation and all transcripts.
