We are very excited for the 104th year of Winter Carnival! This year our theme is "Space" with the slogan "Through Ice and Snow, to Space We Go."
Vending applications will open
8:00am on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 and close on
January 12th, 2026 at 11:59pm. A $5 non-refundable application fee, in the form of a check or cash, is required with the submission of this application. The check should be made out to "Blue Key". This should also include the name of your organization and be dropped off at the Blue Key office by
5:00pm on January 13th, 2026.
Organizations wishing to vend food other than baked goods or prepackaged products must be licensed to distribute these items by the Michigan Department of Agriculture. Each organization is solely responsible for obtaining this license. A mandatory food vending safety meeting discussing how to obtain a license will be held on
January 6th, 2026 at 6:30pm via Zoom. Organizations violating any health department rules will not be able to distribute food during the All-Nighter.
**If you apply for food vending after the date of the meeting, a recording of the meeting along with required paperwork will be sent to you. Please contact bkstatues@mtu.edu with questions or concerns**Completed applications will be considered on a first come first serve basis. Blue Key will assign appropriate sites based on availability. Furthermore, the type of item being vended will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. For these reasons, it is recommended that an organization submit its application as early as possible.
