Rockland County 4-H Youth for Climate Action Application
Thank you for applying to the Rockland County 4-H Youth for Climate Action!
About the Program: The Youth for Climate Action program will equip high school students throughout Rockland County with the skills and knowledge necessary to address climate change at the local level. After a series of interactive sessions, trips, and connections with local organizations, members will work together to create and implement service projects to address climate concerns and promote positive change.
Who We're Looking For: We are seeking Rockland County high school students (grades 9-12) who work well in a team, are passionate about climate change issues, and are dedicated to making a difference in their communities. To be eligible for the program, students must reside in or attend school in Rockland County.
Please submit your application (complete with letter of recommendation) by November 30, 2020. Interviews will be conducted virtually on Thursday, December 10, between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. In the event that COVID-19 prevents us from meeting in person, we are prepared to conduct sessions virtually.
