Sign-up form - Gender & diversity Reading Group
future.film.education. – Online Teaching and Diversity in European Film Schools is a collaborative research project aiming to contribute to a more innovative, inclusive and diverse higher education environment for film and media, both on- and offline. For this project are responsible these three European film and art schools: ifs internationale filmschule köln (DE), Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (HU) and Universidade Lusófona (PT).

As part of the research group "Diversity in film and media" we invite you to join our Reading Group and be part of the future.film.education project! We invite you to bring texts, films and other media works you would like to discuss.
Our research team will support you in discussing these works from an intersectional perspective in a rich international setting. You will also meet students from other countries who are also engaging with similar questions and with whom you can exchange ideas.

The reading group aims to foster discussions on gender and diversity that are informed by the students’ own research practice and to guide them in reviewing their own artistic and academic work. In each session, we will discuss a text, film or art work proposed by a student from one of the film schools.

The reading group will meet every last Wednesday of the month.

Time: 17 h CET
