About the Facilitator:I am a queer xicana yerbera who was born in Mexico and grew up in El Monte, CA. My class facilitation style is very hands on, collective, and engaging. In learning spaces that I facilitate, I share what I know and I am also super invested in providing a mutual learning experience where people are encouraged to share their own knowledge and contribute what they know. I have been facilitating spaces for over 10 years and have been doing skill shares in the community consistently for the last 7 years. I also have a background in teaching and restorative justice so I am excited to be combining all these skills in the curriculum and learning space we will create together. If you have more questions about what I do, feel free to visit my website www.berenicedimas.com or contact me directly. ~ Thank you for your interest. I am so excited for us to be sharing space together.
Class Offering:The class energy exchange is $200. The money goes to paying all the supplies for the class (herbs, medicine making equipment, etc.), the community space we will be learning out of, worksheets/copies, and my time~energy.
Now that we got the logistical info covered, I am really interested in knowing more about you, why you want to join the class, and what you hope to get out of it. Please make time to answer the questions thoughtfully.
