VSPY TA/AC Application 2017
Welcome to the Teaching Assistant and Assistant Counselor (TA/AC) application for our summer VietAID Scholarly Program for Youth program (VSPY)! Our VSPY program is an academic enrichment program in which first to eighth graders build and strengthen their academic skills and engage with enrichment activities during the summer.

Teaching Assistants and Assistant Counselors play an important role in our summer program: Teaching Assistants work in the morning providing academic support during our academic blocks and lead academic activities while Assistant Counselors work in the afternoon assisting and leading groups during field trips, clubs and other enrichment activities.

In addition to working directly with our youth participants and teachers, you will engage in weekly meetings and workshops on career and college readiness. This position will be a great opportunity for you to build and practice your leadership and workforce skills, connect with your peers and make an important impact in the community.

Please fill out this application thoughtfully and entirely. If selected for the next round, we will contact you for an interview to learn more about you and your interest in this position.

Please be sure to submit not only this VSPY TA/AC application but also register through the City of Boston SuccessLink Teen Employment program. We will accept applications no later than 6pm, Friday April 7, 2017. Please contact Carro Hua at carrohua@vietaid.org and/or call us at 617-822-3717 x 21 for any questions, comments, concerns, etc.
