Food Bank Home Delivery Application
Please fill out this form to apply for food box deliveries. The first section is a list of guidelines that you must read and agree to in order to participate in this program. The second section provides you with space to enter the information that we'll need to start delivering food to your home!

Bellingham Food Bank's home delivery program is not a 'convenience service.' This program is intended to serve people who cannot come to our Ellis Street Free Grocery Service or our Drive Through Service and who do not have someone who can pick up food for them. Do not sign up to receive home deliveries if you are able to access our other programs.  *

Some of the food delivered in our home deliveries comes from a federal program (TEFAP) that requires its recipients to be at or below certain income levels. Please see the TEFAP income guidelines below and confirm that your household meets the income requirements. For more information about TEFAP and its guidelines, click here.

Deliveries are made on Fridays between 9am and 3pm. We cannot provide you with a specific delivery time, and times may vary significantly from week to week. *

You must be available by phone during the delivery window in case your driver cannot find your address or cannot enter your building. *

If you live in a secure apartment building that requires a code for entry, you must provide Bellingham Food Bank with the gate/door code so that the driver is able to access the building. If your building's gate or intercom system is broken, you must answer your phone when the driver calls to be let in. *

You may not receive your delivery if: 1) We are not able to find your address and we are unable to reach you by phone. 2) We have reports that your food is being left out and unused. 3)The volunteer driver feels threatened by a dog or for any other reason while attempting to make the delivery. *

If your food has not been delivered by 1pm, you are encouraged to call us to check in. If you call to report a missing delivery after 3pm, unfortunately we will not be able to make any more deliveries until the following week's delivery day. *

If you will not be home when the delivery is made, please be aware that there are perishable items in the boxes and make a plan to get those items into refrigeration soon after delivery. *

Delivery drivers cannot enter any home or personal space. If you need assistance carrying your food box inside, please make your own arrangements. *

We cannot accommodate custom dietary requests but we do offer four different box types to suit a variety of dietary preferences. You'll be able to choose your box type on the second page of this form. *

All new applicants are currently being placed on a waiting list. You will receive an email or phone call up to 48 business hours after submitting this form to confirm that we've received your application. We will be in touch again when there is space for you in the program. *

If Bellingham Food Bank makes a change to our delivery service, we will notify you at least a week in advance. Keep an eye out for flyers packed inside the boxes to notify recipients of broad program changes. *

Your first name, phone number, and address will be provided to our volunteer drivers so that they can complete deliveries. Please check the box below to authorize us to share this information.
