SKA 2017 UKF Nitra Conference - Call for Speaker Proposals
The Slovak Chamber of English Language Teachers (SKA/SCET) invites English teachers from Slovakia, central Europe and around the world to share their expertise at its third ELT conference at Constantine the Philosopher University (UKF) in Nitra, Slovakia, on 22-23 September 2017.
Deadline for proposals: 25 June 2017.
Notification of accepted proposals: 14 July 2017.

We welcome proposals for 45-minute practical workshops in any the following areas:
-Teaching Young Learners
-Teaching Lower Secondary
-Teaching Upper Secondary
-Teaching Adults/Tertiary
-Teaching Business English
- Global Issues
- Intercultural Communicative Competence
- Using Drama in ELT
- Using ICT in ELT

Definition of WORKSHOP:
A practical presentation which shows, rather than tells, an ELT technique/activity/idea that can be used later in the classroom. The speaker involves participants through hands-on activities.
