Black History Month Celebration - Organization Registration
Students of North Stafford High School’s Leadership Class are organizing a series of activities to commemorate Black History Month. We are hosting a Celebration of Black History is Everyone's History on the very last day of the month - Saturday, February 29, 2020. There is a Black-owned business and organization exposition (3 PM-5:45 PM), various acts honoring Black History Month (6 PM-8 PM), and our booths will reopen following the presentation (8 PM-9 PM). The event is at North Stafford High School.
We are asking each participating organization to come prepared with an informational booth and display. Our intent is to foster conversation and connection between local black-owned business owners, Greek organizations, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) representatives, with our students and families. While we appreciate your time and commitment to making our annual BHM Celebration a success, please understand this is a school-sponsored event and our purpose is about connection.
We would be delighted to have you join us at the Celebration and promote your business/organization. Once we have finalized our list of organizations, we will forward a packet of information with instructions on parking, loading, and unloading, location in the commons area, etc.
