Student Loan Forgiveness Seminar - Wednesday, October 27th - Members Only
Our local and national unions know student loan debt is a critical issue for our members. We bargain hard for professional compensation salary, and we can also work together to ensure members save as much of your hard earned salary as possible. As you may know, we also work in the state legislature and Congress for student loan relief.

Teresa Muench from NEA Member Benefits will walk us through the different programs of Student Loan Forgiveness. This program stemmed from NEA's "Degrees Not Debt" Campaign through NEA members' advocacy around lowering the student loan debt. ESPs and certificated members are welcome.

4:30-6:00 pm on October 27th (zoom meeting ID will be sent to those who RSVP).

We'll hear the presentation and there is built-in time for individual/specific questions. Often participants benefit by having their loan info accessible, or knowing how to pull it up online.

As FWEA members we're all learning the process together, and that's why we bring in our expert. Our NEA Member Benefits expert tells us that the only absolute disqualifier to the student loan forgiveness is if you have consolidated ALL of your loans into the private marketplace. All of these questions will be answered at the seminar.
