2019 Oakland Summer Youth Employment Interest Form
The Oakland Summer Youth Employment Program is open to Oakland youth ages 16 - 21 and prioritizes serving African American/Black, Latinx, Native American, and Pacific Islander youth residing in East Oakland, Fruitvale, and West Oakland who have no or limited previous work experience and are not currently attending school or working.

Youth enrolled in the program receive job-readiness training, ongoing support, and meaningful paid work experience. The program has a limited number of spots. Unfortunately, not all youth who apply will be enrolled in the program.

The City of Oakland partners with the below organizations to implement the program. Once you submit your application, if spots are still available, one of the below organizations will follow up with you.
